Root Cause
Look at the root cause, not the symptom.
Begin by looking not at the surface issues, but the root cause. When you treat symptoms, you never address the root problem.
When the root is not addressed, issues will continue to pop up. Addressing this core issue is much more difficult to do, because it demands self- reflection and awareness. It requires that you examine yourself, your history, and your actions to see what may be causing problems. It requires that you address that larger internal conflict head on.
When you dig to the root, you can no longer look away or make excuses. You are forced to confront what you have been unwilling to address previously. Addressing that root problem can be difficult, but it will bring you the freedom that you desire as you let go of certain things.
